As a result of our great successes, Hope for Children is planning an expansion in 2008 and needs practical support through donations.

You will receive a tax deductible receipt from our Australian partner Australian Foundation for Peoples of the Asia and Pacific (AFAP), a not-for-profit organisation that provides us with administrative and technical support.

AFAP and Hope for Children are working jointly in the delivery of aid to communities overseas. AFAP closely monitors the work of Hope for Children to ensure the delivery of relief and/or development programs in Ethiopia in terms of project outcomes. AFAP allows Hope for Children to use donated funds or donations in kind only for benevolent activities undertaken by Hope for Children.

Hope for Children does not have DGR status in our own right and are relying on AFAP’s DGR endorsed status by the Australian Taxation Office. AFAP retains the ultimate discretion whether to distribute any funds in accordance with the preference expressed by the donor.

By making a donation, you can assist us to empower orphans and vulnerable children to become healthy and self-sufficient. This has the potential to change the future of Ethiopia.
